1 the Granite State
We know, of course, that each of our states is an individual and proud of it. Not content with their names, they take descriptive titles also - the Empire State, the Garden State, the Granite State - titles proudly borne and little given to understatement.

9 Montana
XIX в. см тж Treasure State, (western) meadowlark, bitterroot, ponderosa pine, Oro y Plata, Montana, Big Sky Country, Land of the Shining MountainsII"Montana""Монтана"Гимн [ state song] штата Монтана (с 1945) -
